2025 Brand Design

As the Vice President and Social Media Manager of the Korean Student Association (KSA) at San Jose State University, I sought to strengthen the club’s brand identity by aligning it more closely with the university’s image. I noticed a disconnect between the existing logo used on communication platforms such as Instagram and Discord and the university’s Spartan identity. Drawing inspiration from SJSU’s Spartan spirit and the symbolic significance of the yellow Asian tiger—an emblem of strength and courage in Korean culture—I redesigned the logo to incorporate the tiger’s headgear. This new design effectively represented both the Korean heritage and the university’s dynamic identity.
